I dunno. I know I do jack shit for the community, and I just...stalk? lurk? whatever. I sent a message solios(no...I don't know how to link here. He draws cowgirls and girlies with bellies and such. He also draws two amazing comics. I think he's at the point where you're almost to weird to be productive. The hell is that called?) basically saying ZOMGILUBURWURK!!! and it + Comic Appreciation day has gotten me a-thinking. Every last person in the FA community is drawing for someone else. Yes, they want acknowledgement and such, but it's very, very difficult to truly get yourself off on your own work. Each artist, each writer, they do it for us, not for themselves. We need to start saying thank you more. I've said "thank you. I like this, this and this about your work. I dislike this, this and this, but you're still cool because you do something for others" to only 4 peeps here.
How crap is that?
I dunno. Once my finals are over, I think I need to start some huge, overlapping "Operation: Thank You" type of thing.
My memory for thank you notes is utter crap, so if I end up sending someone a thank you twice, could you please not hate me?
